What is a Psychrometer and how it can measure temperature and humidity

In this video, we demonstrate how to measure Humidity and Temperature using a digital psychrometer — one of the most important tools for accurate greenhouse climate control.

In this video, we demonstrate how to measure Humidity and Temperature using a digital psychrometer.

Very often, growers use desktop temperature sensors or inaccurate tools to measure humidity. Humidity is one of the most important parameters in greenhouse climate control and is often not managed properly.

In this video I demonstrate the use of a psychrometer to measure:

  1. Ambient Temperature
  2. Wet Bulb Temperature
  3. Dew Point Temperature
  4. Relative Humidity

If you know the relative humidity accurately, you can control and ensure your plants don't get issues such as fungal infection due to high humidity, or dehydration due to low humidity.
